Healing Ceremonies
“Let us remember that within us is a palace of immense magnificence.”
– Teresa of Avila
In the chaos of an unexpected and big life change, gathering for an hour of peace to speak from the heart may be powerfully transformative.
Can ceremony be healing? Yes. In my experience, absolutely and emphatically, yes.
Often, a ceremony may be the only thing which can ease us from the grip of a shocking soul experience and help to transform our shattered sense of self.
A ceremony can support us as we work to let go of what is painful or what is passing, and to cultivate gratitude, acceptance and even celebration.
Ceremonies of Healing may support:
- Closure of a business, experience, community event
- Aging
- Divorce
- Losing a job or a home
- Health changes
- Empathy rituals with those in great pain
- An experience of woundedness
